01How much does a website cost in Malaysia with DTAYW?
A 5-page website is RM1,000 for design and development (5 pages at RM200 per page). Publishing, domain and hosting are charged separately. Prices start from RM185 per page, and we work from your budget to design the best fit for you.
02What does the per-page price include, and what's extra?
The per-page price covers design, development, a mobile-friendly build and revisions returned within 1 week. Publishing, domain, hosting and system pages (bookings, payments, logins, dashboards) are extra.
03What counts as one page? How about a single-page scrolling site?
One page is one unique layout with its own link, like Home, About or Contact. A single-page scrolling site counts as one page when its sections are short previews of your other pages. If your whole site lives on that one page, each major section counts as a page: Hero, About, Services, Portfolio and Contact = 5 pages. A 1-page landing page is billed at the 2-page minimum.
04Does repeated content (product listings) count as multiple pages?
No. Repeated content that uses one layout counts once: 30 products on one product design = 1 page.
05Are booking systems or logins included?
No. System pages such as bookings, payments, logins and dashboards are quoted separately, once we understand what you need. Tell us about them in the brief form.
06Do I need to pay for domain and hosting? How much, and how often?
Yes. The domain is a yearly fee charged by the registrar, and hosting is a monthly or yearly fee charged by the host. We set them up for you in your name and pass them through at cost. Domain and hosting usually come to about RM200–RM300 / year.
07Do you publish the website for me?
Yes, publishing is included with every website. Our publish service sets up your domain and hosting, deploys the site, connects the domain and checks it on mobile and desktop, and includes one online training session. The publish service fee is quoted per project, paid at the publish stage.
08What happens after launch?
You get a 7-day test period: if anything needs changing, we'll fix it. After that, you manage your site yourself, using what you learned in the handover training.
09Will I be able to update the website myself after launch?
Yes. The handover training session shows you how to upload and update your site and how to renew your domain and hosting.
10Who owns the domain and the website?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, and after launch you manage your own renewal.
11What happens when my domain or hosting is about to expire?
You renew your domain and hosting yourself. We'll remind you once, before your first-year renewal.
12How long does it take to build a website?
Your first concept is ready 1 week after the WhatsApp kickoff, and revisions come back within 1 week. Development time depends on the scope, and publishing takes 1–2 days.
13What if my budget is smaller than the price?
Tell us. We work from your budget to design the best-fit website for you, for example by starting with fewer pages. If any extra fees or adjustments are needed, we'll tell you first, and the price is open to discussion.
